Sunblock is My Friend

“Sooner or later, everyone sits down to a basket of consequences.” Robert Louis Stevenson

Sunblock on your face, neck and decolletage is essential and the 005-copyconsequences of failing to use sunblock…not pretty and sometimes with dire consequences. Fair skinned and of a certain age means sunblock is my best friend and if I can make it work with some beauty enhancement, I am golden!  I swear by Colorscience products for daytime. dsc_2943-copy I start with Anti-Aging Serum and Epicurean Eye Alive Serum followed by daily moisturizer (I just learned I need to let each layer dry before applying the next).  Next I use  Even Up Clinical Pigment Perfector SPF 50.  I actually like the resulting look better than any make-up I have tried and it is SPF 50 to boot.  007-copyNext I apply Sunforgettable Brush-On Sunscreen SPF 50 in Medium or Tan depending on the time of year. I apply a bronzer, some Maybelline Brow Drama and the amazing Grande Lash mascara, pop on some Sunforgettable Lip Shine SPF 35 in champagne and I am ready to go. I love the Maybelline Brow Drama because it is like mascara for eyebrows and gives some color to the inevitable grey hairs sneaking into my brows.  I also have several of the brush-on sunscreen and lip shine in my car, purse and golf bag so I can reapply during the day.  So simple.  This sun-safe beauty routine takes less than five minutes and is a must for me to feel protected during the day.
