Sunblock is My Friend

Sunblock on your face, neck and decolletage is essential and the consequences of failing to use sunblock…not pretty and sometimes with dire consequences. Fair skinned and of a certain age means sunblock is my best friend and if I can make it work with some beauty enhancement, I am golden!  I swear by Colorscience products for daytime.  I start with Anti-Aging Serum and Epicurean Eye Alive Serum followed by daily moisturizer (I just learned I need to let each layer dry before applying the next).  Next I use  Even Up Clinical Pigment Perfector SPF 50.  I actually like the resulting look better than any make-up I have tried and it is SPF 50 to boot.  Next I apply Sunforgettable Brush-On Sunscreen SPF 50 in Medium or Tan depending on the time of year. I apply a bronzer, some Maybelline Brow Drama and the amazing Grande Lash mascara, pop on some Sunforgettable Lip Shine SPF 35 in champagne and I am ready to go. I love the Maybelline Brow Drama because it is like mascara for eyebrows and gives some color to the inevitable grey hairs sneaking into my brows.  I also have several of the brush-on sunscreen and lip shine in my car, purse and golf bag so I can reapply during the day.  So simple.  This sun-safe beauty routine takes less than five minutes and is a must for me to feel protected during the day.
